Hi, I'm Caitlin!

As I moved around while I was younger, I am not sure what city I would call home. I was born in Alexander City, AL and lived there until I was seven years of age and I currently call Roanoke, AL home as I have lived here the past nine years. Most of my life has been spent in Roanoke, AL which is a small town forty-five minutes north of Auburn, AL. While in Roanoke, AL I Attended Handley High School where I graduated with honors and also number seven in my class.
After high school, I attended Southern Union State Community College, where I was given a Presidential Scholarship for a full two years or 82 credit hours. While at Southern Union I wanted to pursue a career in Nursing, but after a lot of thought I realized nursing was indeed not my passion. After this realization, I came to the conclusion I loved children and that children are my passion, I switched my major to Education and in specific Elementary Education. After making the life changing decision to change my major to Elementary Education, I applied to Auburn University in hopes of fulfilling my dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. A few weeks after applying to Auburn University I learned that I had been accepted and I was overfilled with joy to be attending my dream college to finish my bachelor's degree in education. |
